Donald Trump meets Dennis Rodman in Texas
President Donald J. Trump appeared with former NBA star Dennis Rodman at a Peterbilt plant in Denton, Texas, on October 1, 2026, renewing public discussion about Trump’s listed height online.
Trump joked that standing beside Rodman made him feel less tall. Rodman is officially listed at 6 feet 7 inches, creating a documented comparison point during their Texas appearance together.
Donald Trump’s records list 75 inches
Trump’s latest annual physical, released on May 29, 2026, officially lists his height at 75 inches and his weight at 238 pounds, following an examination at Walter Reed three days earlier.
That 75-inch figure equals 6 feet 3 inches, matching the height reported in earlier presidential medical records. The current physician memorandum, therefore, supports Trump’s longstanding official height listing as president.
Dennis Rodman is listed 4 inches taller
Dennis Rodman is officially listed at 6 feet 7 inches and 210 pounds. Using published measurements for both men, Rodman therefore stands exactly 4 inches taller than Trump’s recorded height.
Trump acknowledged the visible difference during the Denton event, saying that standing beside Rodman made him feel shorter. The appearance produced no new official measurement for either man there publicly.
Dennis Rodman arrives with Yella Yella
Rodman attended the Texas event with rapper Yella Yella, his partner since 2022. Their appearance beside Trump became another visual reference within online discussions comparing the president with public figures.
Rodman and Yella Yella have appeared together for several years. No verified public measurement precisely establishes her height for a dependable comparison with Trump at the Texas event.
Donald Trump appears with Adam Scott
Trump appeared with golfer Adam Scott days earlier at the Presidents Cup in Illinois on September 27, 2026. Scott is listed at 6 feet, providing another publicly documented height reference.
Scott and Trump greeted each other on the final day at Medinah Country Club, where Trump served as honorary chairman. The United States defeated the International Team 17-13 in Illinois.
Donald Trump met Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo met Trump at the White House on November 18, 2025. Published official records differ on Ronaldo’s height, listing either 185 centimeters or 1.89 meters for the Portuguese forward.
White House photographs show Trump and Ronaldo together in the Oval Office and along the West Colonnade. Because official listings differ, photographs cannot establish a precise height comparison between them.
Donald Trump’s physicals repeat height
Trump’s 2018 presidential physical listed him at 75 inches, 239 pounds, and a blood pressure of 122 over 74. Ronny Jackson officially released those figures after the January examination that year.
The 2025 annual physical again listed Trump at 75 inches while recording a weight of 224 pounds. Separate presidential medical records therefore repeated the same height measurement across multiple years.
Dennis Rodman built defensive legacy
Dennis Rodman built his NBA reputation through elite defense and relentless rebounding. He earned 2 Defensive Player of the Year awards and won championships with both Detroit and Chicago teams.
Rodman won 5 NBA championships during his career and later entered the Basketball Hall of Fame. His defensive impact distinguished him beyond scoring, where he was never a primary option.
Donald Trump visits Peterbilt in Denton
Trump’s October 1 appearance took place during a visit to Peterbilt’s Denton plant. His speech covered manufacturing, tariffs, trucking, and Republican candidates before he recognized Rodman in the audience.
Trump said the facility produced about 200 trucks each day and praised the company’s expansion. The Denton stop formed part of a 32-day campaign push before the November midterm elections.
Dennis Rodman returns to Durant roots
Rodman’s presence was also connected with Trump’s next campaign stop in Durant, Oklahoma, where Rodman attended college. Southeastern Oklahoma State University became central to his basketball development before he played in the NBA.
Rodman played 3 seasons at Southeastern Oklahoma State and earned NAIA All-American recognition each year. He averaged 25.7 points and 15.7 rebounds during his college career before the 1986 draft.
Fun fact: Dennis Rodman once skipped a Bulls practice during the 1998 NBA Finals to appear on WCW Monday Nitro, then returned for Game 4.
Dennis Rodman’s Kim Jong Un connection
Trump used the Denton appearance to discuss Rodman’s relationship with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Rodman began visiting North Korea in 2013 and publicly described Kim as a friend.
Rodman returned to Pyongyang multiple times and joined basketball-related visits involving former professional players. Trump referenced that history while thanking him, linking the athlete’s international connections to their meeting in Texas.
Dennis Rodman’s rebounding record stands
Trump called Rodman the greatest rebounder in basketball history and said Michael Jordan and others shared that view. Rodman led the NBA in rebounds per game for 7 consecutive seasons.
Rodman’s record gives context to Trump’s opinion. He earned 7 NBA rebounding titles, made the All-Defensive First Team 7 times, and received 2 All-Star selections during his professional basketball career.

Donald Trump gets no new height measurement
The Denton appearance renewed discussion because both men have established measurements in official records. Their side-by-side photographs provided visual context, but images alone cannot reliably determine either person’s height.
The October event produced no new official measurement for Trump. Released presidential medical records remain the documentary basis for his listed height, while photographs continue to invite comparisons with athletes.
